Friday February 15, 2013: Sun Shining Bright, Hardly a Cloud in the Sky
We are back to sun again and it is a beautiful day. Here is a temperature sample for those who have been asking about it:
9:00 a.m. - Back here in the Jungle - 72º F
Noon - Shady Jungle Temperature - 85º F
Noon - Temperature in the Sunshine, but still in the Jungle - WOW! My thermometer says it is 120º in the sun. Can that be right? It does not feel that hot.
3:00 p.m. in the shade - 82º F
8:00 p.m. at Hidden Jungle Beach House - 70º F
The weather in Costa Rica’s Caribbean is unique to the country. Rainy season is November - January. The rest of the year has sun and rain - mixed. It can get hot in the summer but here at Hidden Jungle Beach House the ocean breeze and jungle shade keeps us cool. I live in Puerto Viejo, on Costa Rica’s south Caribbean coast. In November 2011 I opened a jungle guest house, where I live and write this blog. Here you’ll find the weather and more.
